Mitratech Extends Market-Leading e-Billing Platform to eCounsel

eCounsel now integrates with Collaborati, enabling hundreds of corporate legal departments and thousands of law firms to join one of the most widely used e-Billing platforms in the world.

AUSTIN, Texas, July 11, 2016 – Mitratech, the leading provider of Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) solutions, is proud to announce the latest release of eCounsel. This release is the first major software release since the acquisition of Bridgeway in the fall of 2015. Extending Collaborati to eCounsel clients is a great example of Mitratech’s unique position in the market to deliver value across multiple product lines that benefit legal departments of all sizes. Mitratech is committed to driving additional improvements and value through cross product development.

Specific enhancements and benefits in this latest release include:

• Collaborati Integration. Collaborati, Mitratech’s flagship e-Billing product used by over 11,000 law firms and vendors for invoicing and collaboration with TeamConnect clients, is now available to our eCounsel clients. Collaborati offers an array of features for law firms that increase efficiencies and reduce client inquiries including, notifications at the client and matter level, search based on law firm matter data, usability features including enhanced online help, the highest security standards, a dedicated support team, onboarding assistance, and support in over 200 languages. Legal departments have consistently driven 5-10% legal spend savings for clients utilizing Collaborati as part of a comprehensive spend and vendor management program.
• SAML Support. – eCounsel now features increased support for SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), enabling clients to manage their own user accounts from their own Identity Provider (IdP), including the ability to control single sign-on (SSO), password strength, and application access.
• Security Enhancements. – In a security conscious world, Mitratech is continually striving to stay on the leading edge of ensuring our applications meet all standard requirements. Mitratech monitors, audits and updates software security on a regular basis. Therefore, enhancements to standard security code hardening is included in this release.
