Mitratech to Attend Leading EHS Summit

Mitratech joins panel discussion on Incident Management at this year’s Verdantix Summit.

AUSTIN, Texas, May 12, 2017 – Mitratech, the leading provider of legal, compliance, and operational risk software solutions, announced today that it will be joining a panel discussion on Incident Management at the forthcoming Verdantix Summit being held from May 15-17 at the JW Marriott, Houston, Texas.

This will be the fourth annual Summit to be held by leading analyst firm, Verdantix, and once again Mitratech will not only be a sponsor for what is expected to be the largest gathering of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professionals from a wide-range of industries, but also will have the privilege of participating in one of the thought-leadership panels, “Beyond The Metrics Plateau: New Frontiers In Incident Management,” which starts at 9:15a.m. on day three of the event.

Mitratech’s General Manager of Compliance and Operational, Risk Mark Delgado will be joining Verdantix’s Managing Director, Rodolphe d’Arjuzon, as well as a trio of EHS professionals to discuss how too many organizations find themselves in a situation where improvements in incident rates have hit a plateau especially with regards to serious injuries and fatalities. The panel will discuss the reasons for the incident rate metrics plateau and discuss how innovative technologies can – or can’t – deliver further improvements in incident rates.

“I’m looking forward to exploring how companies can leverage technology to improve incident management with Mark Delgado from Mitratech on my panel,” comment d’Arjuzon. “This is always a topic that’s always high on everyone’s agenda given how central it is to improving worker safety.”

“The Verdantix Summits are always a great place for vendors and EHS professionals to get together and delve deep into issues affecting the industry and I am very much looking forward to participating in Rodolphe’s panel,” Delgado said. “Innovative technology is very much at the forefront of what we do here at Mitratech; we are constantly developing our software to make it easier to manage EHS risks such as incident management.”

Delgado added: “One area I am especially keen to discuss with the panel is how Business Intelligence (BI) can help EHS professionals predict and prevent incidents by analyzing the large amount of data that is available to them in their EHS Management Systems.”
