Interact 2017: Innovate, Integrate, Motivate!

In the final in our series of Interact blogs, Bree Goodall discusses what you can expect from the Interact 2017 agenda.

In yesterday’s blog I talked about how our session content was focused on you, our clients. For the purposes of today’s blog I’m focusing on the conference agenda, for it is comprised of a great breadth of sessions, product best practices, technical deep dives, industry experts, and trends for legal and compliance.

This year, the sessions will be laid out by topic, featuring sessions on Legal, Risk, and Compliance. There will be three tracks that will run throughout the days: Product Best Practices, Trends & Industry Experts, and Mitratech Updates.

With 60 breakout sessions over the course of two days, you will have the opportunity to be taught by peers, industry experts, and product professionals. You certainly aren’t going to be short of things to see and do! Interact is a perfect platform to share best practices, provide thought leadership insight, and show you tips and tricks to enhance the use of your Mitratech product.

For those of you looking for more product-specific sessions, we have a plethora on offer including an eCounsel session entitled ‘Linking to Your Office With Office Link – for eCounsel’. Just after the morning break there’s the session on our new innovative Legal Hold product; here you’ll be able to find out how it can help streamline your hold process for better visibility with less effort. Product experts will also be on hand to provide a preview of our new offering and the availability for hands-on testing in the Solution Center.

For our Lawtrac clients there will be a number of sessions running, including one by Senior Business Analysts, Cynthia Strider, who will be explaining how to add new teams, practice areas, or simply a new matter type in Lawtrac. Cynthia will also join Product Manager Kim Felice for a Lawtrac roadmap session. If you’re one of our Secretariat clients then make sure you head on over to Trailblazer Ballroom D at 2:30pm on day one where there will be a session on ‘Secretariat Repository Functionality’, which will cover the ability to utilize Secretariat as a repository for your entity’s constitutional documents.

When it comes to our TeamConnect product there will a whole host of sessions over the two days. During these sessions you can find out about the new robust features and updates for the product, and you can get a sneak peek at what is in the near future for TeamConnect. There’s also the product roadmap session run by Product Manager Matt Wilson; and if you are planning on upgrading TeamConnect then we have two sessions focused on the value and benefits.

When it comes to Viewabill then don’t miss Director of Product Marketing Steven O’Donnell talking about ‘The Value of Viewabill’ on the Wednesday morning.

There will also be a selection of sessions around our policy management offering PolicyHub, including a look at how you can demonstrate a defensible compliance program. On Wednesday, you can attend a session for CMO Compliance where you will see live demonstrations of the platform’s capabilities for managing operational risks and mitigating controls, business incidents, and related compliance audits. On Monday through demonstrations of our DataStoreDSX solution, you can learn how organizations use the comprehensive information governance software platform to provide flexible and secure management of data and information assets as a cornerstone for regulatory compliance and for driving operational efficiencies.

If you’re looking for more thought leadership or industry-related topic sessions then we also have a wide selection on offer. GDPR is very much a hot topic at the moment so don’t miss the workshop ‘Practical Steps to Get GDPR Compliant by May 2018’ where leading industry experts will provide practical and timely advice on how to get GDPR compliant, including real world examples of how Mitratech solutions can play their part.

There’s also a great session on ‘Bridging the Gap Between Legal, Compliance, and Operational Risk’, which will look into best practices for how legal, compliance, and operations can work together to reduce risk and improve results across the organization and hear from experts on how businesses are organized and structured, what works and what doesn’t, and how and when to invest and utilize technology.

And on Monday there will be an interesting session on ‘Looking to the Past for a Better Future: Using Historical Data to Better Manage Risk’ here you can learn how leading law departments are utilizing matter data to better manage risk and to develop go-forward strategies.

I could go on and on for there is such a wide choice of interesting and interactive breakout sessions to whet the appetite for all who attend Interact 2017 but to conclude what I will say is that for each one of our sessions the floor will be open for you to ask questions and grill our product and industry experts, so don’t be shy join the conversation!
