Interact, Mitratech’s annual user conference, is right around the corner, and we could not be more excited. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our clients and prospects to this one-of-a-kind, industry-leading event. Client conferences provide so much value and opportunity for their attendees, and our goal is to consistently ensure that Interact is the best user conference for legal departments across the globe.
Networking opportunities happen throughout the day, every day – from meals to sponsored breaks to roundtables. When attendees are not in educational break-out sessions, they are sharing best practices with each other and learning from their peers. We also have over 25 industry partners in attendance to discuss industry trends and how to use best practices to implement legal technology most efficiently and effectively. Even better, attendees take these relationships back with them and stay in touch until the next conference. Their new friends are great contacts to have throughout the year as they experience upgrades, add-ons, or new company processes. Do you remember making new friends at summer camp? It is similar to that comradery, except that these new friends can help save your company millions through best-practice sharing.

Second to networking, attendees truly appreciate the valuable content throughout Interact. The highly anticipated Monday keynote will be presented by Richard Susskind, world renowned author, speaker, and advisor. He will discuss “The Future of In-House Legal Departments”, detailing the drivers of change that can be expected in the coming years. Almost 50 break-out sessions follow Monday’s keynote with a range of speakers. Clients, industry experts, sponsors, and Mitratech product experts have been working hard on building presentations for their peers. These sessions will provide attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to return to work and be a best-run legal department. No matter an attendee’s role, there is a session for him/her: technical product deep-dives, legal ops advice for a 21st century legal department, client best practices, and Mitratech company updates.
But what is a client conference without a little (or lot) of fun? After welcoming attendees to New Orleans on Sunday night, everyone will do a little “Rolling on the River” on Steamboat Natchez, complete with a casino room. On Tuesday evening, we will host the farewell bash on Bourbon Street at an iconic jazz room. And you can expect to see plenty of Cajun cuisine throughout the week.
