Business Analyst
(Multiple Locations Across US)

Description
This position involves assisting customers with defining, documenting, designing and configuring solutions to parallel overall business strategies by creating detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to configure and develop a solution including software configuration, use testing, and go-live support.  They will engage at all levels within the client organizations and facilitate workshop sessions to define the solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed and accurate project documentation, estimates, functional and technical specifications, and product configuration throughout the solution delivery process
  • Provide regular status reports on assigned tasks
  • Assist in meeting operational performance goals (quality, customer satisfaction, profitability, etc)
  • Advise customers on industry best practices and methods
  • Identify scope issues and report the same to the project manager
  • Facilitate workshops to define client requirements with key business stakeholders following Mitratech’s approach and methodology
  • Design and configure application products to support customer implementation goals
  • Conduct customer training on the use and features of the products.
  • Assist the customer support group in providing post-implementation support
  • Assist with internal projects, as required to meet utilization objectives


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years domain experience is preferred in corporate legal, auto liability, multi-line and/or worker’s compensation claims, or litigation management. Experience with alternative dispute resolution procedures and management software is helpful.
  • 3+ years in a Business Analyst or software consulting role
  • Prior legal training and/or experience in the legal field
  • Prior claims processing training and/or experience in the insurance claims field
  • Prior risk management/compliance training and/or experience in the insurance risk field
  • Relevant education and work experience which is sufficient to demonstrate proficiency in the technical and non-technical requirements of the position.
  • Extremely proactive and self-managed - naturally inquisitive, desire to continuously improve current business practices/processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate positive interpersonal skills.
  • Consistently demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction for internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate working knowledge and skill with standard project and productivity tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project.


Must be willing to travel up to 80%
