This course provides students with an advanced skill set to perform TeamConnect design and customization tasks, as well as maintain and make basic modifications to customized TeamConnect systems. This training builds on lessons from the System Administration course.

    • System Objects and Custom Objects
  • Working with Custom Objects
    • Create a custom object
      • Use Auto-numbering, naming patterns
    • Create an Involved party object
      • Create a child object
      • Create an embedded object
      • Create categories and custom fields for an object
    • Manage custom lookup tables
      • Create a custom lookup table
      • Create a custom list field (using a custom lookup table)
    • Create Phases
    • Create Phase Transitions

 

Day 2 - TeamConnect Customization

  • Working with Custom Objects
    • Create a Search View for a Portal Pane
    • Create a Search View for an Object Collection
    • Update a Search View for an existing Custom Search
  • Home Pages and Portal Panes
    • Create a Portal Pane
    • Create a Home Page and add a Portal Pane
    • Add a Home Page to Global Navigation layout
  • Workflow (approval rule) and Routes

 

Day 3 - TeamConnect Customization

  • Create a template
  • Create a wizard (using a template)   
    • Example using page transition rules
  • Create a custom block
  • Create an object view to customize a group’s record layout (using a custom block)
